Every minor citizen has full right to marry according to the constitution and laws of Bangladesh. According to the laws of Bangladesh, the minimum age for marriage is fixed at 21 years for boys and 18 years for girls. If a boy or girl is married at a younger age than this, it is considered as child marriage. Child marriage is a crime punishable by law.
